PRAYER

COMMUNITY

We’ve all had seasons in life where we need care and support. In some cases, our needs are unique and require the attention of more immediate and professional help. Sometimes we feel disconnected from God and our own spirit. It might feel difficult to know where to begin.

Below are resources for community care as well as prayer ideas, apps, and opportunities to connect individually or with Saint Giles.

MOBILE PRAYER APPS

Prayer is our opportunity to press pause on the worries and stresses of the day. To speak with honestly all the deepest thoughts of our heart. Prayer gives us the opportunity to intentionally listen for God and to receive comfort, peace, inspiration, empathy, and hope.

When you are struggling with fear, anxiety, anger, or sadness God is waiting to sit with you in the discomfort.

And when you are joyful, full of hope and gratitude, God is there to rejoice with you as you experience the joys of life.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”

Matthew 11:28
